Early Life & Musical Foundations Charlotte Rezbach was born on July 14, 1995, in Ravensburg, Germany. She developed an interest in music early in her childhood, receiving classical training in singing and learning to play guitar, piano, and violin. She wrote her first song at the age of 13.  Career Beginnings & Breakthrough (2016–2018) In the summer of 2016, she began performing at music festivals as a support act for prominent German artists such as Max Giesinger, Johannes Oerding, and Benne. Initially performing solo without a backing band, she released her debut single, "Auf beiden Beinen," in March 2017. Following the release of subsequent singles "Fluchtreflex" and "Pauken," she signed with Columbia Records Germany in April 2017.
